Jonathan Todryk’s “And We Walked Full Of Life” brings together loose blue drawing, pale washes, and warm cream tones across a layered abstract surface. A radiating circular form and scattered linear gestures occupy the upper portion of the painting, while the lower half is defined by sweeping curves, repeated marks, and partially obscured forms beneath a broad horizontal passage of color. Todryk’s lines range from faint and tentative to dark and immediate, preserving the physical act of drawing throughout the finished work. The combination of layered paint and exposed mark-making gives the composition the character of a continually evolving visual record.
