Laura Browning is a San Francisco Bay Area painter whose work centers on the shifting play of light across water. Laura Browning is a contemporary painter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her BFA from California State University, Long Beach, and further expanded her academic and institutional experience through teaching workshops at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and interning with the Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. These formative roles positioned her practice within both museum and educational contexts early in her career and helped shape her disciplined approach to painting.

 

Browning’s work is held in prominent private and corporate collections worldwide, including major healthcare, hospitality, and investment institutions. She has collaborated with international brands such as West Elm, Williams Sonoma, and Bombay Sapphire, and her paintings have been featured in numerous design and lifestyle publications. Represented by galleries and design partners across the United States and Asia, Browning has established a practice that bridges contemporary fine art and global design audiences while maintaining a consistent and refined studio focus.
