“Time Slow Down” by Jonathan Todryk is a quiet, lightly worked abstract painting composed from pale gray, blue, green, and cream. Fine lines and loosely drawn forms drift across the surface, becoming more concentrated toward the right side of the composition where overlapping blue, green, and red marks form a dense passage of drawing. Elsewhere, faint gestures seem to disappear into layers of thin paint and softly rubbed color. Todryk allows evidence of revision and earlier marks to remain visible, creating a surface in which drawing, erasure, and painting continually overlap.
