Cameron Richter's Vernacular 84 continues the artist's exploration of shape, color, and visual language through a contemporary approach to geometric abstraction. Part of his ongoing Vernacular series, the work draws inspiration from the familiar forms and design elements that populate our everyday surroundings, transforming them into a cohesive arrangement of abstract compositions. Richter incorporates a combination of painted surfaces, dimensional details, and illuminated elements, reflecting his interest in the relationship between fine art, design, and material experimentation. Balancing bold geometric forms with a sophisticated palette of saturated and muted colors, Vernacular 84 exemplifies Richter's ability to create visually engaging, large-scale works that feel both playful and thoughtfully composed.
